BennettStrong Recipient of Phillies Charities, Inc. Grant

The BennettStrong Foundation was among thirty-five organizations in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and in areas near the Phillies minor league affiliates, that were awarded a grant from Phillies Charities, Inc. to help continue their charitable efforts.  More than $525,000 in grants from Phillies Charities, Inc. were awarded.  BennettStrong Foundation, along with the other community heroes will be honored for their charitable efforts on Tuesday, Dec. 3 at the Phillies Charities, Inc. #GivingTuesday Holiday Party at Citizens Bank Park.

“We are so excited for the generous support the Phillies Charities, Inc. has given BennettStrong,” said Co-Founder Mary Pellegrino.  “We’ve been able to make memories at the ballpark while raising awareness and funds for children in our community.  Now, with this grant, we have fully funded the first phase of our NI/ICU (neonatal/infant intensive care unit) parent survival kits.  We’ll be moving onto the next phase of this project, as well as exploring some new projects we’ve only been able to dream about doing. “
