5.27.18 – (Bucks County Courier Times) -A Central Bucks School District teacher who established a foundation supporting children with complex medical needs was honored with the Pennsylvania State Education Association’s Human and Civil Rights Award for a community leader.
2.18.18 – (The Intelligencer) –Bennett Pellegrino, of Warrington, was born 15 weeks premature and has had a host of medical problems, including liver cancer. His parents have started a foundation to support other families with medically complex babies and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
9.21.17 – (Bucks County Herald) –The Philadelphia Phillies partnered with Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children, the official children’s hospital of the Phillies, to host Pediatric Cancer Awareness Night at Citizens Bank Park on Sept. 16. Throughout the evening, local child cancer patients, including Owen Frenia, 11, of Doylestown, and Bennett Pellegrino, 4, of Warrington, took part in moments created just for them – giving them the chance to take a break from cancer and live out their major league dreams.
